Terms of use
Last updated 1 November 2026
1. About these terms
Tradask is run from the United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@tradask.co.uk.
These terms are an agreement between us and the business that creates a Tradask account (“you”). The person creating the account confirms they are allowed to agree to them for the business. Tradask is for business use, so consumer protection law that applies to individuals buying for themselves doesn't apply.
2. The beta
Tradask is in beta. It's free while the beta lasts. Features may change, and there may be mistakes or interruptions. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before any charges start, and you won't be charged unless you agree to a price. Please keep your own copies of important records: you can download them from Reports at any time.
3. Your account
- Keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used them.
- You're responsible for the people you invite into your account and what they do there. Remove anyone who no longer works with you.
- Give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
4. Your information
What you put into Tradask stays yours. You give us permission to store and handle it only so we can provide Tradask to you. You're responsible for having the right to put your customers' details into Tradask and for telling them how you use them.
5. How we handle your customers' information
For personal information about your customers, you are the controller and we are your processor. We will:
- only use it to provide Tradask to you, following your instructions (which are these terms and how you use the app);
- make sure our staff and contractors who can access it keep it confidential;
- keep it secure with appropriate technical and organisational measures;
- only use the service providers listed in our privacy policy, under data protection terms, and tell you before adding a new one so you can object;
- help you respond to requests from people exercising their data protection rights, and with your other obligations where we reasonably can;
- tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting it;
- delete it when your account closes (after giving you the chance to download it), unless the law requires us to keep it;
- give you the information you reasonably need to show these promises are being kept.
6. Using Tradask fairly
Don't use Tradask to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, or store content you have no right to. Don't try to get into other businesses' accounts, overload the service or get around its security.
7. Your responsibilities for your work
Tradask is a tool. You're responsible for checking your quotes, invoices, prices, VAT, CIS and other figures before you send them, and for your certificates, safety records and tax returns. Nothing in Tradask is tax, legal or financial advice.
8. Other services
If you connect another service, such as Stripe or QuickBooks, your use of it is under that company's own terms. We aren't responsible for their services, but we'll handle the connection carefully and you can disconnect at any time.
9. Keeping Tradask running
We work to keep Tradask available and your information safe, but during the beta we can't promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may need to pause it for maintenance.
10. Our liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
- Otherwise, we aren't liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss.
- Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the greater of £100 or what you paid us in that period.
11. Ending
You can stop using Tradask at any time; email hello@tradask.co.uk to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, telling you why where we can. We may end the beta or Tradask with at least 30 days' notice. Either way, you'll have the chance to download your information first.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell account owners by email or in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can settle any dispute.
